HHC in 2026!

Hello to all of our HHC families—returning and new!

We hope that everything in the “off season” is treating you well and we here at Friendly House and Hidden Hollow Camp are excited to get back to the hills and trails of HHC. We look forward to the warm sun, the big hill, campfires, skit night a hike to Horse Thief Jack’s cave, Chicken Deluxe, HHC chocolate chip cookies, the Hidden Hollow Hop and of course, to see all the campers again. Please make sure to read our FAQ page for detailed information on registration, policy and procedures.

HHC will run for SIX WEEKS, plus three days of Junior Camp. Campers must be between the ages of 8-15. The last week of camp is open for campers ages 10-15 only. Junior Camp is for campers ages 6-8 who have never been to camper before and all six-year old’s must have completed Kindergarten.

The 2026 Hidden Hollow Camp dates are listed below. We are able to enroll 80 boys and 96 girls each week. Junior camp can house 24 boys and 24 girls. There are 5 KP spots each week. Special Days are listed below!

Columbus Winter Carnival – Feb 21, 2026 from 11 AM – 3 PM – Enter for a chance for a free week at HHC!

Hidden Hollow OPEN HOUSE – April 18, 2026 from 2 – 4 PM

FEES

  • 2026 Camp Fees
    • Each week of camp at Hidden Hollow is a memorable experience, priced at $450 per child. We offer six exciting weekly sessions. For younger campers who have completed Kindergarten, ages 6 to 8, our Junior Camp is available for $125 per child.
    • A one-time registration fee of $75 is required for all campers and is applied to the first week’s balance. The registration fee is paid during the online registration process.
    • Once an application is complete, all required forms are complete and uploaded, your camper will be ENROLLED and the balance of the camp fee is due.
    • Full camp fee balances must be paid 14 days before your campers week at camp or you may forfeit your campers enrollment.
  • Trading Post
    • Our convenient Trading Post allows campers to purchase snacks, drinks, and logo items throughout the week. We suggest a deposit of $30-$40 on check-in day. The Trading Post accepts cash, check, and credit card payments via Square.

FINANCIAL AID or ‘CAMPERSHIPS’

Financial aid or ‘Camperships’ are available to Richland County, Ohio residents only who’s family meet the financial need requirements. Campership forms, located on our registration system and should be completed and turned in as soon as possible. They must be fully complete and documentation uploaded before a decision can be made on funding.

BUNK1 – Camp Photos and Bunk Note Emails

Hidden Hollow Resident Camp is owned and operated by The Friendly House Association of Mansfield. Friendly House is a local nonprofit organization. Our mission is directing programs toward the strengthening of family life and character building by providing recreational, educational, health and fitness, crime prevention, preschool and camping programs to our immediate neighborhood and our community as a whole, at a cost that everyone can afford.
